Redesigning MultiPOD Mentoring

When MultiPOD Mentoring approached me, their existing website felt outdated and no longer suited their evolving mission of connecting global health students with senior mentors via video. The original layout was static, the content was scattered, and the design didn’t reflect the innovative, human-to-human approach at the heart of their program.

I began with a full audit: assessing usability, content flow, responsiveness, and user engagement. Then came the redesign. The project involved refreshing the layout to simplify navigation, reorganizing text and imagery for clarity, and rebuilding the structure to align with current visitor profiles and expectations. While most content was recreated for freshness, key elements that still resonated were carried over selectively. Every decision was made to ensure the new site succeeded where the old one fell short.

The result is a fully customized, modern Squarespace website optimized for accessibility, responsive across devices, and tailored to the needs of both mentors and mentees. The new site not only better reflects the brand’s values but also delivers a smoother, more engaging user experience.
