Redesigning Ana MArques

When Ana Marques asked me to redesign her website, the goal was to build an online presence that reflects both professional rigor and deep human connection. The new website should not only communicate technical competence, but also warmth, trust, and accessibility, to make people feel they can begin their journey toward well-being the moment they visit the website.

I began with a full audit, evaluating how easily visitors could understand what services are offered (children, adolescents, adults, couples, family, etc.), whether the psychological approaches were clearly described, how the team was presented, how well testimonials and client stories built trust, and how the website performed on mobile and smaller screens. I also considered how the imagery, colors, and typography could amplify a sense of calm, empathy, and professionalism.

The audit highlighted key areas for improvement, which guided the redesign:

  • Clarifying content structure and navigation makes it much easier to find information.

  • Humanizing the design, choosing images, layout, and visual cues that feel welcoming rather than clinical, letting visitors see the people behind the practice, and highlighting values (humanization, trust, competence).

  • Improving readability and accessibility, ensuring text is easy to read, and that sections are clearly separated.

  • Responsive and engaging experience, making sure the website looks good on all devices, and that visitors are guided toward making contact.

The result is a website that balances technical credibility and caring presence. It’s fully responsive, with clear service descriptions, a warm team section, many testimonials affirming both professionalism and empathy, and a layout that helps people feel seen and supported.
